studio XEPHA is a video production studio in Berlin producing social media videos for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts. We are not a marketing agency that outsources content, we shoot it ourselves: camera, lighting, sound, edit, and colour grading in-house.
What separates this from conventional video production is frequency. Social media rewards consistency, not one-offs. So we work in shoot days rather than single videos: one production day typically captures the footage for four to eight videos, which are edited and delivered afterwards. How many shoot days a given period needs depends on the frequency you are aiming for, the budget, and availability.
Everything we produce is made for the platform it runs on. Reels and TikToks are shot vertical, with the hook in the first seconds and subtitles, because most people watch without sound. LinkedIn content gets a calmer pace and a different tone. Every cut variant comes out of the same shoot day, which keeps you visually consistent across channels.

What is a content day?
A content day is a single production day on which several finished social media videos are produced instead of just one. Travel, setup, lighting, and sound are incurred once rather than per video, which brings the cost per video down substantially compared to single productions.
How many social media videos does my company need per month?
It depends on the goals and needs of the company. Two videos per week is the minimum required to maintain any presence on social media. If you actually want to grow, plan for at least four videos per week. There are many possible strategies, and which one makes sense always comes down to the goals and the budget.
Why is a single reel not enough?
The Instagram and TikTok algorithms reward frequency and consistency. One good video every three months produces no channel growth. At the same time a single video is the least economical format to produce, because travel, setup, lighting, and sound cost the same for one video as for eight.
Do I need different videos for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn?
